Become a Member

Choose the member type and complete the online application and pay with credit card or create an invoice. IMPORTANT: Membership will not be active until payment is received. If you choose the invoice option, you will need to pay in 65 days or your application will be removed from the database.


Accepted Credit Cards:  MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover.


Agency (Voting Membership)

Open to locally sanctioned cable communications boards and commissions, city councils, county boards, and other public entities engaged in the regulation, administration, or planning of cable and/or telecommunications systems.


All members of your agency, as long as they are public officials and/or public employees, receive full MACTA benefits under one membership.


Agency Membership Dues

Agency: Population less than 4,999 - $160

Agency: Population of 5,000-14,999 - $315

Agency: Population of 15,000-29,999 - $580

Agency: Population of 30,000-44,999 - $710

Agency: Population of 45,000-99,999 - $1,840

Agency: Population of 100,000-149,000 - $2,625

Agency: Population of more than 150,000 - $3,675

Associate Organization (Non-Voting Membership)

Open to any telecommunications systems who do not qualify for agency or individual membership.

Associate members receive all MACTA benefits except special mailings and voting privileges.


Associate Organization Membership Dues

  • Budget more than $500,000: $370
  • Budget less than $500,000: $210

Associate Individual (Non-Voting Membership)

Open to any individual (not open to cities) from a non-profit organization or student involved in the planning, development, programming, or research of cable television.


Associate members receive all MACTA benefits except special mailings and voting privileges.


Associate Individual Membership Dues

  • Attorney/Consultant: $265
  • Educational Institute: $55

Membership period: Annual (January-December)


Member rates for an event:

To receive member rates for an event(s), you must join first and then register for the event(s). These will be two separate transactions. Organizational membership-when joining as an organizational member you will need to complete you membership process and make payment. Once your membership is active you will then need to sign back in and go to sub-accounts in the profile to add your contacts.
