DESCRIPTION:February 23, 2024 Update: We were advised to reschedule our lobby day at the Capitol from February 28 to March 6 because of the joint public funeral service for the three public safety officers killed in the line of duty in Burnsville.\n\nThe new date is MARCH 6TH. The new start time is 9:00 a.m., with the workshop at the League of MN Cities 9-11 a.m., prep time 11:00 to noon, and appointments with legislators to be scheduled by MACTA members throughout the afternoon.\n\nWe are advised that if MACTA members have already set up and wanted to keep their meetings on February 28, it is recommended to reconfirm that your legislators will be available on February 28. MACTA leadership and our lobbyists with Goff Public are available to attend appointments on February 28thor March 6thif requested.\n\nPlease join us this year as we begin the important process of seeking legislative solutions to modernize funding resources for PEG stations and local governments.\n\nRegistration is NOT required, but willassist us in planning for refreshments and paper handouts!\n\nFREE  convenient on-site parking walking distance to the MN Capitol Complex! (Please see attached map of the parking lotand try topark anywhere marked in GREEN if possible.
