2025-26 Board Election Information

MACTA would like to announce the recruitment of individuals who will carry forward the mission to support, promote, and protect local interest in community media (PEG), cable franchising, public right-of-way cable/telecommunications public policy. Four seats on the MACTA Board are available in this election cycle and new members will join mid-term members to continue work on strategic plans that add to the strength of our media centers and cable franchising in the state.

The MACTA Board are dedicated individuals who work together to guide and support initiatives that serve our membership on a variety of telecommunications issues including cable franchising, PEG operations, wireless and broadband policy. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is a champion of community media policy, legislative activity, and professional development. I encourage you to apply or to nominate someone who you think would be a great addition.

The strength of our network of PEG operations and professionals is what it is today largely because of the work of MACTA members and our lobbying efforts. Minnesota is widely regarded as one of the strongest networks of community media centers in the nation. Please consider applying for a seat as we work toward reinforcing the long-term support and sustainability of our membership at the state and local level.

MACTA President
