MACTA 2017 Annual Conference Recap

Survey says...

...the 2017 MACTA Annual Conference was a success! All but a few of the 32 respondents to the conference evaluation strongly agreed or agreed the information presented at the conference was useful, the length of the conference was appropriate, facilities and meals were satisfactory and the registration process was easy.

A conference favorite was “The Changing World of Media and Information Consumption,” with about two-thirds of respondents rating it excellent or good, followed closely by “Diversity and Inclusion: Programming for Diverse Audiences and a Dynamic Workforce.”

A majority of attendees felt the exhibitor booths added value to the conference, with many expressing interest in a future technical session devoted to vendors showcasing their wares.

Many of you offered excellent suggestions for future topics and speakers at the 2018 conference, or for workshops in the interim. MACTA Board and committee members are hard at work crunching the data and reading comments and will use your valuable feedback to design programs and sessions that will help serve your needs!

Thank you for attending the 2017 Annual Conference and for providing constructive feedback. Start thinking about next year’s conference in June (date to be announced soon), at the University of Minnesota Continuing Education and Conference Center.

The following session presentations are available:
